«Venera 14» — the new track

Friends, today — April 12 — the country in which I live — Russia — celebrates "Cosmonautics Day". It's strange — to wage war and be proud of space achievements at the same time. Personally, I can't understand it. But nevertheless, the first manned flight into space — it was performed by Yuri Gagarin in 1961 — is a world achievement, and our common big step into the Universe.

But on this day I decided to tell you a slightly different story — the story of the exploration of Venus by the space stations «Venera 13» and «Venera 14». There is a rather lengthy story about them in the description of this single.

Friends, for the past three days I have had an epiphany regarding the transformation of philosophical ideas into musical phrases ... okay, take it as a joke ... although, in every joke there is only a part of the funny, and the other part is serious. What if the path of Man in the Universe starts deep in the microcosm, and is directed to the stars and galaxies? We — none of us — certainly do not remember how we were once small atoms. But you don't have to remember.

It would not be superfluous to just think about it along with this music.

«Fantasies about the Worlds» experimental studio session

This is another five of the improvised studio tracks that are unlikely to be turned into anything finished. However, they listen quite well in this form. Besides, each melody here corresponds to this or that philosophical idea. This seems to be the richest studio session in mental and visual imagery. And also - it is the longest, which is not so important.

Selected improvisations

This selection of improvisational tracks is not uniform at the moment of occurrence — everything was recorded on different days (or rather, nights). But I felt the impulse of the need to collect this music in one carriage and roll it away on the rails of life. Further, it is itself, and I need to move forward.

Despite some seeming fragmentation, these tracks differ in a common feature — each of them corresponds to a certain philosophical thought. I expressed it right in the first publication on Youtube and social networks. It will be superfluous to duplicate the description of each improvisation here, but all this is in a very colorful PDF booklet, the design of which was very successful this time. «The land of hopes and trials» album update

Friends, I have updated one of my most melodic albums ... oh well — this is my most mystical album — «The land of hopes and trials» — it was completely composed in the Crimea — in the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory. There are strange places on our planet — anomalous zones, places of power. The Crimean Observatory is one of the most mysterious places of power — it is even mapped, and this is not a joke. How many times I went there, I always had special melodies — right there. At first I took a telescope and a camera with me. And then he began to take a synthesizer with him. This album was completely and very quickly written at the Observatory. There is simply a creative volcano erupting among mountain rivers and valleys. I tried my best to express this in music.

What has changed in the release now?

Friends, recently I had a concert «Music of Celestial Spheres. Leap into the future» and we recorded it. The recording of this concert has been released as a live album. The album actually became a collection of my best works, but the difference from the usual collection is that it is a live performance of electronic music. And each melody sounds here in a new version. The transitions between the tracks turned out very well - like the concert, this album has continuous sounding - more than 80 minutes - one melody conceptually transitions into another.

«Interstellar mission» new album

This is a new album, Friends

Although many of you will hear familiar tunes here that you wanted to hear again, buy on CD or download from the NR website, but they were not there ...

... they appeared, disappeared again, sounded at most concerts, but did not add up to an album for 14 years.

I do not know the reasons for their so strange fate, but today there is a holiday on the interstellar highway of these melodies — they now have their own album, and perhaps this is also my best album, each composition in it is a hit, recognizable from the first sounds, possessing bright and memorable melody, successful arrangements, fast paced rhythm and deep attention.

They were a little unlucky with the sound. At the time of their birth, I did not have enough experience, but now they have found it too — an elastic, rich sound, which was not there before in my early early experiments. 14 years ago, I certainly would not have achieved this sound. The years of waiting were worth it. During this time these melodies found the new companions, and the tracklist was extended by 4 compositions.

Meet «Interstellar Mission» — the album, the program of which is presented at the «Interstellar Live» at the Museum of the History of the Earth (there is full support on the HP site) in 2007. A year ago, I posted an unfinished footage as an «Interstellar Music» bootleg. But now it's a full-length album:

DreamOcean — On the verge of sleep

Friends, how did you sleep, what did you dream about last nights?

Dreams only seem illusory. In fact, these are journeys into another reality. But we cannot always manage this. Sometimes you just can't sleep. Pills are not the best solution. There is much better — music.

I fell asleep badly since childhood. Rolled over from side to side. And so the whole night could pass.

Luckily I found a solution. It was much easier for me to fall asleep with the music. Not all music was good for it. But one day I wrote what I needed. And since then I have no problem with insomnia.

But the idea inspired me to write several albums, which I combined into one musical project — «DreamOcean».

The first album was released in 2001 and it is called «On the verge of sleep». This is an hour of deep sleepy ambient. Among interesting features of this music, an extremely long hall (special sound effect) is used here — more than two minutes in duration. Each sound dissolves in the musical space for an infinitely long time. And it has an amazing action. Of course, there are many other interesting features. There are interesting timbres, and partly captivating rhythm. But the main thing is the musical space that you find yourself in by playing this album.

One of the best albums of mine today got a new design, new content and more more more...

Northern wind

I'm from Russia. Northern wind is a big problem for Russia. Fortunately we do have it not every day. But if the Northern wind comes winter, we get ocean of snow and coldest weather. A few day ago it happened. Because I started renewal this album. And Moscow was covered with snow for a one meter. Europe too.

Sorry! I'm so sorry!

I didn’t know it would come out this way.

But ten years ago, when I was just recording this album, it was the same. Also — snow, blizzard and cold came...

And I do love the Northern wind since my childhood. It brings energy, freshness and a clear starry sky. So I dedicated a whole album to it. And maybe this is my best album.

I think you will like this music too.
